As part of the social security compliance of the companies registered in the Public Registry of Contractors of Specialized Services or Specialized Works (“REPSE”) entered into by the Mexican Sociatl Security (“IMSS”) and the Labor Ministry (“STPS”), we hereby inform you the following:
Last November 22, 2023rd, a cross-check of information between REPSE and IMSS records was carried out to detect any non-compliance by contractors.
For this reason, on February 8th a joint bulletin by IMSS and STPS was issued in order for such contractors to review and, if necessary, regularize their social security situation, since non-compliance with tax or social security obligations is a cause for cancellation of the REPSE registration and may also be grounds for tax penalties.
