Dear Clients and Friends,
A Coordination Agreement on Labor Conciliation was recently published in the Federal Official Gazette. Its objective is to provide the basis on which the Federation, the States and Mexico City, through the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare, will concur in the creation of a coordination mechanism made up of the Heads of the Local Conciliation Centers and the Federal Centre, known as the National Commission of Labor Conciliation Centers.
This coordination, dialogue and promotion mechanism for the work-life balance culture has the following objectives:
- Promote and perform collaboration and coordination actions that strengthen the Local Conciliation Centers and the Federal Center to spaces for strategic reflection with the purpose of proposing the establishment or criteria that harmonize their performance;
- Promote coordination and support actions with the corresponding institutions for the exchange of best practices that help promote prejudicial labor conciliation, as well as the development of actions which will improve the performance of the members that form the Local Conciliation Centers and the Federal Center for strengthening their knowledge, skills, aptitudes and attitudes through training;
- Carry out strategies that strengthen the security of access to labor conciliation services for workers and employers;
- Reproduce information that can be documented and that it is available, in accordance with the applicable regulatory provisions, and must be timely, pertinent, reliable and affordable, and that it includes a gender approach;
- Manage efforts and actions that help spread and promote the culture of labor conciliation as the effective solution for resolving labor disputes, and
- What may be required for the fulfillment of its objectives and purposes.
Remaining at your service in case you require a more thorough explanation.
Sincerely: Lic. Jesús Israel Perales Piña.
