We hereby inform you the following relevant information for your company.
The board of representatives of the National Minimum Wage Commission (“CONASAMI”), determined that as of January 1st, 2022, the general minimum wage will increase from $213.39 pesos to $260.34 pesos in the northern border free zone and from $141.70 pesos to 172.87 pesos for the rest of the country.
This increase agreed by CONASAMI was structured based on a mixed scheme, under the mechanism known as Independent Recovery Amount (“MIR”), therefore, said increase was determined at $25.45 pesos in the free zone of the northern border and $16.90 pesos in the rest of the country.
Consequently, and for a timely review and understanding of the required information, attached hereto is the table of the new general and professional minimum wages that will be effective as of January 1st, 2022 for the entire country, as well as a classification of the activities considered as such.
